Before you choose a system.
Read the policy wording
If your insurer specifies a tracker category, an active subscription or particular operating conditions, bring that wording to the conversation. A certificate alone does not confirm that every policy condition is met.
Plan for time in storage
Discuss how long the car is parked, its battery maintenance routine and who has access. Ask how the chosen system behaves when the vehicle is unused for extended periods.
Think beyond installation
Know how to manage driver tags, servicing, changes of owner and a suspected theft. Keep monitoring contacts and product instructions somewhere you can access without the car.

Do I need a tracker, an immobiliser, or both?
They serve different purposes. An immobiliser adds an authorisation step before driving, while a tracking system helps locate a vehicle and may include a monitored recovery service. Your existing equipment, vehicle compatibility and insurance requirements determine the suitable combination.
Will my insurer accept the system?
Acceptance depends on your policy and the exact product. Send your insurer's requirements before booking and confirm their acceptance of the proposed system. We can explain the product and installation documentation; we cannot promise a discount or blanket insurance approval.
Can you fit at my home, dealership or storage facility?
Nationwide mobile fitting is available by arrangement. Tell us your postcode and the proposed location. We will confirm access, working conditions and availability before booking.
Do trackers have an annual subscription?
Many monitored systems have subscription charges. Costs and terms vary by product and provider. Ask for a breakdown of the fitted price, subscription, renewal costs and any transfer fees before ordering.
What about servicing and other drivers?
Tell us who needs to use the car and how it is serviced. We will discuss the chosen system's authorised driver process and any service or valet mode during the handover. Procedures vary by product.
Can you help with a hypercar or a less common model?
Yes, you can request an individual assessment. Provide the exact model, year and existing equipment. We will check available options before making any compatibility or installation commitment.
